 It's a Sell Out for International Autojumble
11th & 12th September 2010With three weeks to go before this year's International Autojumble, taking place on the 11th and 12th September, the event is a sell out with all stand space now taken. Beaulieu Events Manager, Judith Maddox said:" This is the earliest we have ever sold out of stand space which is great news for the 35,000 plus, classic vehicles enthusiasts who will be flocking to the event." With over 2,000 trade stands to choose from there is something for everyone and lots of bargains to be had.

Am Sonntag dem 22. August
 Kaunitz ist ein kleines Dorf, das zur Gemeinde Verl gehört. Kennt kein Mensch?
Doch, denn regelmässig finden hier einige sehr anspruchsvolle Oldtimertreffen statt.
In 2009 kam der British Day hinzu. Ohne "S" hinten dran, weil das Treffen nur am Sonntag stattfindet.
Auch in 2010 blieb es bei dem British Day. Und natürlich wurde auch dieses Jahr wieder viel geboten.

The stage is set: from July 2 to 4, the Earl of March and Kinrara is inviting lovers of historic motorsport to join him for the annual highlight in the calendar, the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Once again 150,000 visitors are expected to make their way to the Earl’s Goodwood estate in the south of England to witness outstanding vehicles from the history of motor-racing. Audi Tradition will be making a convincing appearance: Nick Mason, the legendary Pink Floyd rock group’s drummer, is driving an Auto Union Silver Arrow again, and Marco Werner, three times a Le Mans winner, will be at the wheel of an Audi V8 quattro DTM.

Jürgen Fabich hatte sein Hobby zum Beruf gemacht, als er im August 2001 sein erstes Britisch Classic Cars Magazin heraus brachte.
Am 24. Februar 2010 ist er nach langer Krankheit verstorben. Sein Team, unter Leitung von Anne Fabich, hat versucht sein Lebenswerk weiter zu führen und wurde dabei von Herrn Mathias Paulokat (Classic Driver) tatkräftig unterstützt.

 Many of our friends jet off each year to destinations such as the Caribbean, Florida or Thailand in search of sun, sea and sand. My wife and I on the other hand prefer to travel to places that are within range of our classic cars. Whether Sweden or Italy, France or Spain, all of these countries harbour destinations that appeal to us. But there are many more.  Extending the reach of Classic Index Europe-wide will serve our personal aspirations very well indeed, giving us key information about all of favourite holiday spots! But many other classic car owners also enjoy the freedom of touring with their "little treasures". Classic Index is now well established in the Netherlands, in addition to the German speaking countries of central Europe. But what of Great Britain, the homeland of many Classic vehicles?
