.  Viele Enthusiasten verbinden ihre Oldtimer-Leidenschaft mit ihrem Beruf. Sie gründen Firmen um den Besitzern alter Fahrzeuge bei ihren Problemen zu helfen. Auch Jürgen Fabich war ein solcher Helfer. Leider ist er jetzt an den Folgen einer Krankheit gestorben.

"Morris archive shot of the millionth Minor on the production line on December 22, 1960"
A Morris Minor is estimated to sell for £25,000-30,000 when it goes under the Charterhouse hammer in their auction of classic cars and motorbikes on Sunday 8th November at The Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet.  "We have teamed up with the Footman James Classic Car Show in November again as it is one of the best classic car shows in the country attracted many thousands of car collectors and enthusiasts." Commented Matthew Whitney. "We are always fortunate to receive some interesting cars and motorbikes in the sale, but this particular Morris Minor is probably the best known Morris in the car world as it is the millionth Minor off of the production line."

 Über 11 Jahre ist es jetzt schon her, als meine bessere Hälfte ihren ersten Morris Minor bei Firma Lins bestellt hatte (Bericht dazu im „British Classic Cars Magazin" Heft Nr. 6/2002) und bei "LINS-MINOR, a wolf in sheep´s clothing". Sie hatte Herrn Lins und seinen geölten Blitz in Blenheim Palace, auf der 50. Geburtstagsfeier des Morris Minor`s, zwischen über 4 Tsd. Morris Minor gefunden. Die Idee „altes, liebenswertes Auto und moderne Technik" hatte sie begeistert.
 Jetzt haben wir bereits den dritten Minor mit Lins-Technik. Probleme gab es noch nie, obwohl wir fast überall in West-Europa damit waren. 120 PS bei einem Gewicht von nur 800 kg Auto! Dazu ein fantastisches Fahrwerk und eine mindestens genauso fantastische Bremsanlage. Damit kann Mann viel Spaß haben, wenn Frau ihn hergibt.
Nur Herr Lins wollte mehr! Der neu Lins ist fertig und hier sind die ersten Bilder.....
