Highlights of Schloss Dyck Classic Days
Family weekend on wheels
At the first weekend of August 2009, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2, the Classic Days will convert the picturesque gardens of 1,000 years old moated castle Dyck once again in a Mecca for historic car lovers. Stunning concours exhibits in the parks along with classic cars in motion make the event unique.
 Jüchen/Neuss/Germany As they have done during the first August weekends 2006, ‘07 and ‘08 also in 2009 the Dyck Castle Classic Days will create a symphony mixed from good mood, gleaming eyes, historic garden pleasure and shiny classical automobiles and motorcycles. They will take place on August 1 and 2 in and around the moated castle Dyck, located close to Neuss in the city triangle Duesseldorf - Köln - Moenchengladbach.
The historic car event is a German one of a kind. It spans from the elite of concours vehicles to a historic car meeting for each and everyone. With the historic scenery and the family picnic atmosphere it attracts also people who are not true historic car enthusiasts. No doubt: The Schloss Dyck Classic Days go straight to the heart.

 Peter Patz startet mit wunderschön restaurierter Universelle in bbenbüren - Sie ist ein Liebling der Zuschauer: Die Universelle ZIIIb. Praktisch in letzter Minute hat Peter Patz aus Zeithain sich selbst und seine Universelle für die 29. Internationale Ibbenbürener Motorrad-Rallye angemeldet. Bei einem derart schönen Oldtimer konnte die Rallyeleitung natürlich nicht nein sagen, auch wenn der Nennungsschluss längst vorbei war.

Das Museum AUTOVISION zeigt am Beispiel der Marke NSU den „Ludwig Erhard Effekt" in gelungener Ausstellung.
 Altlußheim. Es sind die Jahre 1949-1966, die gerade heute, in einer von Rezession überschatteten Gegenwart noch vielen Menschen als die „gute alte Zeit" in Erinnerung bleiben. Tatsächlich ging sie als das „Deutsche Wirtschaftswunder" in die Fachbücher der Chronisten ein. Es war in der Phase des Wiederaufbaues nach den schlimmen Jahren des zweiten Weltkrieges, in der man sich hoch motiviert nach einer raschen Steigerung oder wenigstens Normalisierung der Lebensqualität sehnte. „Wohlstand für alle" war das Motto des damaligen Wirtschaftsministers Ludwig Erhard.

Already over 80,000 Visitors to the New Porsche Museum
Automobile Jewels Available for Viewing on all Easter and Whitsun Holidays
Stuttgart. The New Porsche Museum of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in Stuttgart has already very much established itself as a popular destination. As the automobile manufacturer in Zuffenhausen is also expecting high numbers of visitors over the Easter and Whitsun holidays, the Porsche Museum, which is normally open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, will also open its doors on Easter and Whit Monday as well as Good Friday, May Day, Ascension Day, and Corpus Christi. Since its opening on January 31, already over 80,000 visitors have explored the new Museum on the Porscheplatz.
