Admire a spectacular special exhibition this year at the TECHNO-CLASSICA: on the occasion of the anniversary of 100 years of Bugatti automobile construction, the association Bugatti-Club Deutschland e.V. is expected to present eight automotive rarities of the "Wizard of Molsheim".

The young Ettore Bugatti had constructed his first four-wheel automobile in the year 1900 already. In 1907 the man of 26 years began a job with the Gasmotoren-Fabrik Deutz AG in Cologne; however he left the company again after only two years. He already had constructed the car which established his success from 1909 on in the basement of his Cologne apartment: the 10-type. He realized his dream with a high severance payment credited to his account: On 1 January 1910 he established his own automobile factory "Automobiles Ettore Bugatti" in Alsace. The first car built in serial production was the 13-type.

The organiser of the TECHNO-CLASSICA was able to win the Bugatti-Club Deutschland e.V. - established already in 1956 and thus the oldest German brand club - for a special presentation on the occasion of this extraordinary jubilee. The following Bugatti jewels are expected to be seen from the possession of the club's members:

* The 15-typewith 18 HP - the first automobile to be constructed in Molsheim - it was the first success of Bugatti, forming the foundation for all later Bugatti of lightweight construction. 468 exemplars have been built between 1910 and 1921.
* The 35-typecomes from the year 1928. The two-litre Grand-Prix car with 3-valve technology was the first Grand-Prix vehicle from Molsheim and established the Grand-Prix success of the brand from Molsheim.
* The smaller 37-typefrom the year 1927 with its sprightly 1.5 litre, four cylinder supercharged engine by all means was able to compete with the big brother of the 35-typ. It was particularly successful with hill climbs.
* The 38-type from the year 1926 is an extremely rare exemplar. The successor of the type-30 touring car with its engine from the Grand-Prix 35-type is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
* The40-type, built in 1927 with its 60 HP and four cylinders with 1.5 litre cubic capacity is deemed the Bugatti "for the man in the street", the Bugatti amateur.
* The44-typeof 1927 was exclusively built as touring car. Its 3-litre eight-cylinder has a power of 80 HP.
* The touring car of the 49-type from the year 1930 is a version of the 44-type, enhanced to 3.3 litres.
* The touring car Bugatti successor of the 49-type, has overhead camshafts and became the best-sold Bugatti touring and racing car ever. It was available as 57-type with 135 HP and as 57 S-type, its eight-cylinder in-line engine has a performance of 175 HP.
