The 2010 ClassicIndex Christmas competition has now closed
and the winners have been drawn

The correct answer to the problem is „Brits\'n\'Pieces".. This spare parts specialist is located in the town of Heinsberg, only 15km distant from Linnich. Within a 50 km radius there was a total of 22 companies supplying British cars and spare parts to be found. Motoring clubs, however, did not count. * Further addresses in the near of Linnich please see below

The number of entries this year was even higher than in 2009, no doubt due in large part to the fact that there were 4 prizes to be had and they were all of high quality and very good value. Not all of the answers provided were correct. One entrant in fact said "don't know, too difficult". But a large number of people found the correct answer quickly and submitted it to us. Some of you answered the firm "Bosch Kuppers" in Linnich. Whilst this firm is engaged in the Classic Car scene, unfortunately it cannot help with typical British car problems and also does not subscribe to our website. This answer was therefore incorrect.

We hope that most of the correct answers were submitted by genuine classic car enthusiasts and that the winners also belong to this group. We are also delighted that we had entries from all over Europe, not just Germany. Alongside Austria, there were entries from Switzerland and England. There was even a correct answer from Ireland!
